I am sooo happy I chose The Reserve to celebrate at engagement with my family and friends!! Every single detail was absolutely amazing!! The VIP lounge was the perfect intimate setting for the event I envisioned and Phil and his team made sure everything was executed perfectly! I love being able to support BLACK BUSINESSES and this one did not disappoint!! Thank you to The Reserve team! We will be back!!

I am still on a high from hosting my birthday at the reserve! Phil is a phenomenal host/ chef and very professional. He was thorough with all of his options and meal planning from start to finish. This was my first time hosting an event to this large, and I had no issues from the time that I came in to set up my own decorations to the time that we cleaned up. The atmosphere, the music, and the food was excellent. Everything was on point. Everyone was so pleased. It was a nice intimate gathering. We all enjoyed ourselves. I can’t thank Phil enough and I hope to book with him again in the future. People wanted seconds and thirds to go home lol!

Listen!!!! If you haven’t been you missing out!! Nice atmosphere very intimate with delicious food!! We celebrated my mom 77th birthday party and from the time we entered the door they treated my mom like the Queen she is!! We even had a table with kids and the kids enjoyed their food the atmosphere and was treated with the utmost respect!! The catfish the lamb chops the fried chicken Mac n cheese rice yams and the collard greens will Make you smack ya Mama! Now the topper on the cake was when I needed to increase the amount of people in my reservation and the owner Mr Phil himself called me personally to let me know that he will accommodate my party! I was so happy and excited that he went the extra mile to call me!! I will definitely be back really soon!!

The owner and restaurant staff were very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere had a peaceful, relaxing vibe with great R&B and soul feel good music to match. I ordered the waffle, fried fish, and macaroni. The food did not disappoint at all! It was delicious! The fried fish was cooked to perfection, with the right amount of crisp. I was traveling in the DMV area and found this gem through Google reviews and I am so happy I did! Thank you for an enjoyable experience! I look forward to returning during my next visit.

This was my 1st time at The Reserve and it will not be my last. EVERYTHING was delicious. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I will be back to try something different. Today’s visit was fried whiting, Mac n cheese and collard greens. I also got to taste the yam and cabbage. Delicious!!

Treated myself to lunch at a place I’d never been and it did not disappoint!! Saw it on Instagram and heard rave reviews about the potato salad. Had that, the jumbo lump crab cake, candied yams and collards. NOTHING needed extra seasoning and it was perfect. Shawn, my waiter and Bill the owner were very personable and very attentive. I will be returning soon!

The Reserve was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday! From inquiry, to booking, to the event- everything was great! Phil answered all of my questions and made this experience stress-free. The venue was perfect - the decor was set-up nicely, plenty of seating, and plenty of space to move about. The food was soo good - fresh and hot - and the service was even better! I highly recommend and will be booking again for my next event!!

A Memorable Easter at The Reserve Restaurant Yesterday was Easter Sunday, and my wifes family from near and far gathered to laugh, break bread, and create lasting memories. We chose to have our celebration at The Reserve Restaurant in Woodlawn and they did not disappoint. Instead of spending the day cooking at home, Phil, the owner of The Reserve, brought the warmth and flavor of home cooked food straight to us. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, perfect for our group of 34. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The music set the tone beautifully, and there were smiles all around. Phil was initially unsure if serving 34 individual meals at the same time with no compromise on quality or service was even possible. But he and his team pulled it off effortlessly. The food was delicious, the service was seamless, and the energy in the room was full of joy. My wife always want her guests to have a great time, and thanks to Phil and his incredible staff, everyone did. I’m so grateful for the hospitality and care we received. The Reserve truly made this Easter 2025 unforgettable.
